This piece carefully places a blue whale within the confines of a water-filled light bulb. Contrasting deep tones across the whale’s back, with the monochrome tones of the bulb, encourages the viewer’s eye to be immediately drawn to the subject. Thus, forcing the audience to consider the impacts of their actions and how human influence imposes on wild species.
